Prima TV
Conversion of studio complex 1 + 2 Prima TV, Bucharest
Design, planning, delivery, integration, commissioning, training and documentation
Over these service phases, two studios covering 200 square metres and 1,200 square metres were built and commissioned by Wellen+Nöthen, along with the associated video control, sound control, central technology room and the lighting management.
The large recording studio was equipped with a mobile lighting rig that enables the flexible illumination of various studio sets. To achieve perfect illumination for the various production formats, moving heads, along with trackers or PAR spotlights are used. When the issue of the basic fittings for the lighting rig was raised, the choice fell on ARRI spotlights, which are controlled via a Grand MA deck.
Sony BVP-E30WSP cameras with Vinten Osprey statives are used in both studios, which are mixed using a Sony DVS-9000 image mixer. At the centre of the audio section is a Yamaha M7CL48 mixing deck with a Delec command system.
All the monitoring is taken care of in the image and sound control through various Miranda image splitter systems which are controlled via a central controller and whose DVI outputs are displayed on 42” LCD displays with native HD resolution.
Recording and studio playback can either be performed on hard disk or tape in various formats.
