AKK Outside Broadcast Van
Outside broadcast van for AKK TV-Übertragung GmbH & Co. KG
To convert an outside broadcast van for AKK TV-Übertragung GmbH & Co. KG, the W+N team used a Mercedes Benz Atego as their base vehicle. The van now features three separate operating rooms for picture technology, video control and sound control. Eight camera production units, one Sony DFS-7150 image mixer and a Leitch SDI 32x32 crossbar were also installed.
In the recording/play-out section, the 18-ton vehicle boasts four Sony DVW-A500 VTRs and a four-channel Profile/LSM hard disk system. A 40-channel Midas XL200 console was installed for the audio section. Wellen+Nöthen also implemented a redundant DVB uplink with an Advent aerial.
